What $89 covers

One flat price, clear options.

No bait-and-switch. The $89 covers drain or main-line cleaning through one accessible cleanout, up to 100 feet. If we find a deeper issue — roots, a collapsed pipe, a clog beyond 100' — we tell you in plain language and show you options before any additional work.

Cable cleaning up to 100 feet

Professional drain machine pulls clogs, hairballs, grease, and most root intrusions through one accessible cleanout.

Kitchen, bath, and laundry lines

Slow drains, full clogs, and backed-up fixtures across the home cleared at the $89 rate.

Main line backups

If your home backs up at multiple fixtures at once, that's a main-line issue — covered through the cleanout.

Sewer backup diagnosis

Smith can clear the immediate sewer backup and tell you whether camera inspection is worth the next step.

Honest follow-up options

If we find roots, breaks, or recurring issues, you'll see options for camera inspection, hydro jetting, or repair — no high-pressure upsell.

When to call

Warning signs your drain needs help.

Catching a drain issue early is dramatically cheaper than waiting until it becomes a full backup. Here are the signs Smith sees most often in Colorado Springs homes.

Slow drains One sink, tub, or toilet draining slower than usual — often the first sign of partial clogging.
Multiple fixtures backing up Two or more drains slow or backed up at the same time — usually points to a main-line issue.
Gurgling sounds Toilets gurgling when you run a sink, or air in pipes — usually means the main line is partially blocked.
Sewage smell indoors Sewer odor in a basement or laundry room — can indicate a backup forming or a dry trap.
Toilet bubbling or backflow Water or waste rising in shower or tub when toilet flushes — main-line problem, usually urgent.
Repeated clogs The same drain clogging every few weeks — usually means the line itself has a deeper problem (roots, scale, partial collapse).

Frequently asked

About the $89 special.

What if the clog isn't reachable through an accessible cleanout?

If there's no accessible cleanout — meaning we'd have to pull a toilet, access from the roof vent, or install a new cleanout — that's quoted separately before any work starts. The $89 covers cable through one existing, accessible cleanout. Smith will tell you upfront if your home doesn't have one.

What's "up to 100 feet" mean?

Smith's drain cable runs up to 100 feet from the cleanout. That's usually enough to clear any residential drain or main line all the way to the city tap. If your blockage is deeper than 100', or if the line is too damaged for cable to clear, we'd recommend camera inspection or hydro jetting — quoted separately.

Does $89 include camera inspection?

No — that's a separate service. The $89 is for cable cleaning. If we suspect roots, a collapsed pipe, or recurring issues, we'll recommend a camera inspection so you can see exactly what's happening before deciding on next steps. The camera service is quoted clearly when offered.

What about hydro jetting?

Hydro jetting is a more aggressive cleaning method — high-pressure water that scours the inside of the pipe, removing grease, scale, and tougher root buildup. The $89 doesn't include jetting. If we find buildup that cable can't fully clear, we'll explain whether jetting is the right next step and quote it before starting.

Is there a trip charge or diagnostic fee?

No. The $89 is the total for the service as described — cable cleaning through one accessible cleanout, up to 100'. No diagnostic fee, no trip charge layered on top.

What if you can't clear my drain?

If cable can't clear it (rare but possible when the line is severely damaged or fully blocked by roots/collapse), the $89 still applies for the service attempt, and we walk you through what we found via camera inspection. You'll see clear options for repair before any additional work.

What times are you available?

Smith schedules drain service same-day during business hours, with priority slots for emergency backups. Call (719) 285-7454 to confirm what's available today.
