Eva, known as "The Polish Plumber," owns Smith Total Home (Smith Plumbing, Heating, Cooling & Electrical), the woman-owned Colorado Springs company serving the Front Range since 1974. Under her leadership Smith grew from a plumbing-first shop into a full plumbing, heating, air conditioning and electrical provider. Her image appears on every Smith pink truck.
Why "The Polish Plumber"
Eva is proudly Polish-American, and the nickname is a play on her heritage and the trade she has led for years. You will see her on the side of every Smith Pink Truck, in matching denim overalls and red bandana — a Rosie-the-Riveter homage to the woman-owned roots of the company.
Leading a 50-year company
Smith has served Colorado homeowners since 1974. Eva carries that legacy forward with the same operating principles the company was built on: old-school honesty, quality workmanship, and fair pricing.
Under her leadership, Smith expanded from a plumbing-first shop into a full Total Home services provider — plumbing, heating, air conditioning, and electrical, all under one roof and one satisfaction guarantee.
In the community
Smith is involved in Colorado Springs and Front Range communities year-round. The pink trucks are a regular sight at local events and a recognizable show of support for woman-owned businesses across the state.
